This year I was invited to create an original image for the Rare Plant Auction.

Held annually at Longwood Gardens, in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania for hundreds of plant lovers from across the nation who plan their calendars around this annual event. The Rare Plant Auction® is acclaimed for a premier selection of unusual, newly-introduced or difficult to propagate specimens.

This evening at Longwood Gardens raises more than $100,000 each year, and my original watercolor garnered a small portion of the proceeds that benefit Delaware Center for Horticulture’s Community Greening Program, which uses horticulture to beautify Delaware and to improve the quality of life for residents in urban neighborhoods.
