Sculpted Animals, Insects, & Plants

Assembling Bfly   Painting Blue Beetle Insect Play

Research and design your own animal, insect, or plant. Begin the process by researching the subject in great detail by accumulating images from magazines, books, and the internet. These references will inform your sketches, and help you come to know your subject well!  Begin the process of realizing your subject in 3-D by building the “skeleton” of wire hangers, found and recycled objects, masking tape, and paper. Next, apply paper mache to create the outer layer or “skin”, and lastly,  capture the likeness of your subject in as much detail as you desire with acrylic paint. This class is for kids grade 5 and up.

$75.00 – All supplies provided.
