Silhouette Series
Spending many years as a printmaker and surface designer, much of my work comes about by gradually layering or masking images with shapes and textures. In these paintings, distinctively organic shapes and other decorative gestures drift above and below the surfaces.

Intuitive Garden Series
Typically naturalistic, these spontaneous paintings bring together bits and pieces of my garden in an organic fashion. Using familiar gestures and shapes, every space is filled with more pattern, paying homage to my childhood wardrobe - synonymous with 60’s textile designer Suzie Zuzek.

Square Panes Series
A small series of square, acrylic gouache paintings on panels capture plants, flowers, and organisms behind the greenhouse glass. Each is finished with a thick, self-leveling, matte medium surface that is reminiscent of the glass panes of a greenhouse.
